Wedding Invitation Samples |
Wedding Invitation SamplesWe are happy to offer samples of our ‘Couture’ handmade wedding invitations and our ‘Artisan’ and ‘Boutique’ wedding invitations to aid in choosing your wedding stationery. ‘Couture’ wedding invitation samples are provided with presentation boxes, vellum wraps and hand tied bows on the boxes to show you the high degree of hand finishing and optional extras available. ‘Boutique’ wedding invitations samples are simply wrapped and include an envelope so that you can see the quality.
Samples are priced according to the invitation design, please bear in mind that this does not reflect the actual prices of the stationery which, design dependant might be higher or lower. Samples are limited to a maximum of three designs. Should you choose to order your stationery with us the cost of your chosen sample is, of course, refunded against your future order. To order your samples please see below and add them to your basket - should you have any difficulties then please contact us and we'll do all we can to help.
For ‘Couture’ stationery should you wish to order your wedding stationery from your original sample then we do ask for it's return to colour match exactly . If minor amendments are required (for example the colour) then please send a colour swatch (a small piece of fabric, paper reference, even a website link is really helpful) along with the original sample. From this information, along with our discussions about your requirements and your wedding invitation insert text we will issue a hard copy proof.
In all cases we ask for the return of your wedding stationery proof before we can begin the production of your stationery as this sets the ‘benchmark’ for the production of your stationery and serves as the final check as your wedding stationery is carefully packed.
We do not charge for wedding stationery proofs or the colour changes you may require to coordinate the wedding stationery with your wedding theme or colours. However any further design alterations may incur a design or origination fee but we tell you about this before we begin any work.
As all wedding invitation samples are prepared to order please allow up to 10 working days for delivery
Please note that wedding stationery samples are boxed and sent first class with Royal Mail.

Ordering Your Wedding StationeryOrdering your wedding invitation samples is easy:
You can order wedding invitation samples securely online (please scroll to the bottom of this page). Simply select the sample you require and add it to your shopping basket.
For a no obligation quote for your wedding stationery please fill in our online quote and press 'send enquiry'.
If you require a bespoke design or you would like further advice please phone our studio and leave a message on our answer machine and we will respond as quickly as we can. It may be helpful if you have filled in an online quote so that we have all the relevant information to hand.
We have no minimum order quantity for handmade wedding invitations. We do advise early ordering as our lead times fluctuate. Express orders are available but they are liable to a surcharge. This is at our discretion and is dependent on the size of your order and our current workload.
We recommend that you order all your wedding stationery at once, with an estimate of the number of orders of service, menus etc so that we can book your production slot and ensure continuity of your design (exact numbers can be clarified at a later date). We always advise ordering a few spares for extra guests and any errors if you are planning to write out your invitations yourself. Any additional orders will be charged a minimum delivery charge of £8.50 per order.
You will receive a hard copy proof of your wedding invitation for your approval before work can begin. At this stage we request a 50% deposit. Your hard copy proof must be signed and returned to us and so postage is included accordingly.

DeliveryOnce we have received the final balance your stationery will be dispatched. A signature will be required for all deliveries (our usual carrier is Parcelforce), so please ensure you designate a delivery address where someone can sign for your wedding stationery.
We notify you of the tracking number of the parcel and keep track of it ourselves however The Handcrafted Card Company can not accept responsibility for loss or damage of any items once they have been dispatched.
Delivery is £10 for each delivery unless the total order value exceeds £500 in which case delivery is free of charge.
