Returns and Refunds Policy |
RefundsIf you no longer require the goods received, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Goods must be returned as new and unused, within 30 days. A returns number must be obtained for us to process your return efficiently.
Where goods are supplied in sealed packs or containers, the packs or containers must be unopened. The cost of and safe return of the goods is the responsibility of the customer.
In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or they arrive damaged please contact us in writing in the first instance and we will arrange for replacement or refund.
In the unlikely event that your goods are damaged on arrival please let The Handcrafted Card Company Ltd know immediately by telephone or e-mail.
The customer will have the choice of a replacement or full refund, whichever is preferred. If The Handcrafted Card Company Ltd asks for the return of the
damaged goods the cost of the postage will also be refunded. Any shortages must be reported within 72 hours.
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) regulations the customer has the right to a 7 day 'cooling off' period during which time the customer may change their mind and return the goods. The customer must notify The Handcrafted Card Company Ltd by e-mail that they intend to return the goods and we will issue a returns number. The items should be returned unused and in their original condition quoting the original order reference number to the address below. The products must be sent at the expense of the customer and a receipt should be obtained from Royal Mail or the carrier in case the goods are mislaid or arrive damaged and the customer needs to claim against them.
Bespoke or 'non stock' items which have been sourced for the customer or have been cut to a special size cannot be returned.
When the goods have been received at our premises we will refund the value of the unwanted returned goods within 30 days less the original delivery charge.
If the customer orders the wrong product and wishes to exchange it for another item this will be treated as two separate orders. The original postage will not be credited and there will be a new delivery charge for the second item unless we have previously negotiated another arrangement.

Prices and VATAll purchases are charged in UK Pounds Sterling. All our prices show the VAT content in addition to the retail price. VAT is charged at the prevailing rate.Credit Card SecurityThe ordering system allows several methods of payment. If for any reason you do not wish to purchase a product via our third party secure e-commerce facility either Paypal or Sagepay then you are welcome to purchase by sending a cheque to us (please don note that this can considerably delay the processing of your order) or call and pay us over the phone. Please select the option you prefer when you go through the Check Out.
For your security we do not save your card details and any information we collect from you over the phone is shredded.

Back OrdersWe operate a back order system, if your items are not in stock or expected to arrive from our suppliers imminently then the 'out of stock' items will follow. You will not be charged any additional postage.
